Redstone Engineering Guide
Master redstone mechanics, logic gates, and complex circuits to automate your world
📚 Redstone Fundamentals
Power Levels
- • Power ranges from 0-15
- • Decreases by 1 per redstone dust
- • Repeaters refresh to full power
- • Comparators can read partial power
- • Strong vs weak power sources
Tick System
- • 1 redstone tick = 2 game ticks
- • 10 redstone ticks per second
- • Repeaters: 2-8 tick delay
- • Comparators: 2 tick delay
- • Pistons: 0 tick activation
🎯 Golden Rules
- 1. Redstone can power blocks above and below
- 2. Transparent blocks don't conduct power
- 3. Redstone torch inverts the signal above it
- 4. Pistons can push max 12 blocks
