Fire Aspect II and Knockback II are preference picks.

Pickaxe

Efficiency V, Unbreaking III, Mending

Use Fortune III for ores or Silk Touch for utility. Keep separate picks.

Armor Set

Protection IV, Unbreaking III, Mending on every piece

Add Feather Falling IV to boots and Respiration III plus Aqua Affinity to helmet.

Bow

Power V, Unbreaking III, Punch II, Flame

Choose Infinity for convenience or Mending for long-term durability.

Trident

Loyalty III, Impaling V, Unbreaking III, Mending

Use Riptide III on a separate trident because it conflicts with Loyalty.

How to Avoid Expensive Anvil Work

  1. 1Combine similar books in pairs, then combine the pairs.
  2. 2Do not repair perfect gear repeatedly with raw materials.
  3. 3Put the item in the left slot and the finished book stack in the right slot.
  4. 4Apply treasure enchants like Mending after the main enchantment stack is ready.
  5. 5Rename gear during the final anvil action if you want a custom name.

Level 30 Table Setup

  1. 1.Place the enchanting table in the center.
  2. 2.Add 15 bookshelves one block away from the table.
  3. 3.Keep the space between shelves and table clear.
  4. 4.Bring lapis lazuli and at least 30 levels for best rolls.
  5. 5.Use grindstone rerolls on cheap items when the table offers weak options.
